100% agree. I thought S2 stalled when it became a detective drama with the Atlanta child murders. Show is still great though, wish more people watched it.

I finished Dark last night. It was so good.

Mindhunter and True Detective are next on my list.

In a way it almost feels like he’s trolling hyper-liberals, while still being a liberal himself. I get that though. Problem is that far-right assholes will take him seriously and use his jokes as fuel for their bullshit agendas.
Anyway, curious to know what people thought.
it was great...the only people I see butthurt about it are people writing internet articles in places like vulture, ringer, buzzfeed, etc.

anyone i've talked to in person, no matter how liberal, has loved it. i know that's anecdotal so YMMV.

Watched Colin Quinn's Netflix special 'Red State, Blue State' last night and thought it was great. Anyone else watch it yet?

@klillyblad - How does Dark compare to The OA?

It reminded me of The OA and Twin Peaks. I think you'll really like it. There's a scene that blew my mind when I realized what was going on with the two characters. I don't want to spoil any of the twists so I'll leave it at that. You should definitely check it out.

By the way, I love how Netflix cancelled The OA, but still has it up as one of the main shows you can scroll and choose from. What a dick move. Who's going to watch 2 seasons of a cancelled show!?!

That's what was feeding the rumors that it wasn't really cancelled. So frustrating.

Bill Burrs special, Paper Tiger was beyond hilarious. Way better than Walk Your Way Out.

The TV Thread (Netflix, Networks, Cable, Whatever)

Really enjoyed the new Bill Burr special. People really do need to stop taking life so goddam seriously.

Episode will always be known for the 6 minute tracking shot to end the episode, and rightfully so. I really need to re-watch Season 1 again, it was incredible.

I’ve never been more uncomfortable watching a show than I was during that 6 minutes. It felt so real and was absolutely terrifying.

I finished season 1 tonight. It was so good. I’m a wuss with violence so there were scenes that were hard for me to get through but the show was so well done that I couldn’t stop watching. Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey were perfectly cast.

Too. Many. Streaming. Services.

But yeah, I’ll probably end up getting this one.

I'm already a Netflix, Hulu (this is free with my cellphone service), CBS All Access and HBO Go subscriber. I plan on adding Disney+.

Wasn't really considering NBC, but I fucking love Saved By the Bell so I might have to at least subscribe temporarily.
