In fairness I registered but after a couple days I noticed I still couldn't post, so I gave up. I assume my reputation preceded me and the mods thought better of it. RIP Josh.0.Face

So in reality it's like I picked up a nasty bar slut, brought her home, and watched in horror as whiskey D kicked in. Then I woke up and realized divine intervention was the only thing between me and antibiotics.

If they were to change things around, get rid of Tim and Rashawn.

I don't think I have any interest in seeing DMB anymore without Tim up there. Maybe if they went back in time and Dave played guitar again and Boyd contributed, but those days are long gone.

I'm not a fan of Tim on electric generally, and I wouldn't be sad to see him go in theory, but it would definitely leave a huge hole in their sound at this point that I don't think they could fill with the players that would be left. If they do overhaul the sound or the lineup at this point, it's going to require more of a complete reinvention, and I don't see much evidence that they've got that kind of effort in them right now.

I certainly wouldn't miss Rashawn, though. They had a good balance in sound with Tim and Rashawn in 2008, but since Big Whiskey things have changed.

For me, Ross is a huge part of why I can't really get into more recent DMB.

Yeah, I enjoyed Rashawn early on, but it seems like as his role in the band has gotten larger, the tastefulness of his playing has gotten worse. He could be gone tomorrow and I wouldn't miss him once.

Rashawn has completely destroyed their sound. I question anyone who would miss him in the slightest.

Im sure he's a good guy, but his usefulness has expired. A few years ago.

What kind of questions. Like, why are your musical tastes different (inferior) to mine?

Twitter account said it was a problem getting the vbulletin code to work with the new server. Or something like that. I'm not a programming guy.

An unforeseen update was required. Someone (Tom?) graciously worked that in around his schedule

I missed this place. Glad we're back.
