Maybe itís time I give it another chance though.
Now that's a hot take.

Stuff That Doesn't Need Its Own Thread (DMBc Version)

“Doodly doodly dop!” I dont ever skip it, for the Carter and Roi solos, but there is definitely an argument to be made that it goes on too long. Now Recently, THERE is a tune that embodies DMB quintessentially

Shouldn't we be getting an announcement of a new LT for the holidays?

I am expecting something very soon. Really looking forward to seeing what they do for LT50.

Certainly won't argue with that.

36 just captures the quirkiness of DMB, especially Dave. Red Rocks is perfect. The song lost its magic by Listener Supported.

A little of #36 goes a long way, which is why I like it as Everyday better.

It's the worst... I'd almost rather hear Shake Me than ED.

I like 36 but always thought Everyday is a better song (still like it to this day) plus you get to hear a bit of 36 live anyway.

Agree with both sentiments. This is a good example of a much-needed song overhaul working out for the better. Though itís been played into the ground lately because of Buddy, I still enjoy it.

Pref 36 to ED but that might be because it was much more rare and I only saw it a couple times.
Would take Shake me live over ED in most cases

I've always enjoyed Everyday, but Buddy has ruined it for me full-band 4.0.

Everyday could use more #36 lyrics recently

I completely agree its much better when Dave throws in a verse or two. Give us a treat after listening to Everyday.

Also, I agree I actually used to enjoy boyd's wah-wah solo over Tim's chords. That usually led to quite a bit of #36 whenever id see it too. With Buddy, its more of a gospel feature and just singing in a round as a group. Feels more structured.

Listening to Some Devil (annual fall tradition) and watching/listening to some Dave and Friends shows:

1. They need to release another D+F show.
2. The current form of the band could easily pull in Dodo< Trouble, Up and Away, Hey Bulldog, Solsbury Hill, SUAD, and Fool in the Rain. Give Sledgehammer a REST as a cover. And try some new things/songs.

Neither looks to be close to happening, though.

Do we have any idea about a holiday release this year?

Every time they play Sledgehammer I wish it was Solsbury Hill instead.

Everytime they play Sledgehammer I think they used to play songs like Angel From Montgomery. Then I remember this is the DMB party band!
