Didn't even think about putting D+T shows on my list

2.21.97 for sure. Hard to pick a '96 one, but I'd go with 2.19. Haven't listened to many from before '96. Prism is the shit though.

Well, I think a "must have" list should first include all the important shows. Opening for the Dead, or their first west coast show(s), or their first MSG show, or the last show Peter performed even though it's not the best from that year it's still an important show for that single reason, also the very next night without Peter. First show of 2002 when so many thought the band could never recover from the horrific year before, etc...

All the turning point shows, important performances, those are the "must haves" for the history element. THEN you can probably fill it out with shows like 5/31/96, or 8/21/98, etc..

These 3 shows were small since they were openers so they were done pretty quickly. I do have pretty good speeds though.

Outside of the early August shows and The Vote for Change, I think that 7/10/04 is an amazing representation of the 2004 tour. The improv jam>into one of the best Crazy easy's, the all time best Good Good Time, the little Grace prelude, Sugar Will, The Stone, so good.

I look at 7/10/04 as a top 3 show for it's tour, and then I'd go on to say that everyone should have the top 3 shows from their respective tour, so, yea.
