I'd be hard to argue with that logic.

Hard to argue with that list. I am going to refrain until I've heard 50 but I'm guessing my list will be similar to yours. Mine won't have 31 in it though, would probably pick 18 or 37 over that. If 50 is mixed well it could bump 8 off of the list.

Surprised to see the 2001 show on a top 10 list.

Mine would be: 1, 3, 7, 19, 23, 30, 34, 41, 47, 50

I listen to and love 31 as well. No one has said that the performances in 2001 weren’t totally class. They sound as good as they ever have, the setlist is different even for a 2001.

Add a well-picked bonus disc and total nostalgia for the amazing Roi nights, and this is one of them...

...Top 10 LT for me, and I unleashed my all-time message board rant a few weeks later on that tour.

Qwest Center in Omaha 2008 needs to be a TRAX release. To this day one of the main crowd taped shows I go back to. One off those night when everything went right.

So many great '08 shows to choose from. 5/31/08, 6/14/08 and 7/4/08 are 3 of my favorite unreleased shows from 2008.

OK my Top 10 at this point:

LT3 8/26/00
LT47 6/8/97
LT30 August 93
LT1 12/8/98
LT41 3/13/99
LT34 6/24/99
LT7 12/31/96
LT20 8/31/93
LT12 5/5/95
LT50 7/10/04

It pained me to have to leave 23 (2/16/96), 18 (6/4/96), and 39 (10/31/98) off of this list. I guess with 50 of these now it SHOULD be hard to pick a top 10.

The only other releases I see that would belong in my list somewhere here would be Red Rocks and the Academy DMBLive (full band acoustic, phenomenal show). So I guess that makes for a nice Top 15 if I add it all up.

Has there ever been a proper D&F release?

I think that one was just a soundboard that Bonaroo released right? Not a properly mixed release.

Yup, I don't believe it was ever officially re-mixed or mastered, and it wasn't a DMB release, it was a Bonnaroo release. Regardless, this is overdue. That Bonnaroo show was in '04, and it was like 6 months after the tour ended, so they weren't as tight and locked in like they were in Winter '03, which is why we need one of those shows released.

There was also the '05 (I believe?) Vegoose festival which was webcasted live, but once again not a release.

12.19 & 12.22 were the best shows from that tour. It’s a shame it wasn’t longer and they never did another one. I assume the lack of releases has to do with the royalties for so many covers?

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't for the best that they didn't tour any longer? Was Trey not strung out of his mind, and maybe even Dave and Tim as well?
