Vinyl is expensive. Flacs never did me wrong.

$105 for a show on vinyl that isn't from the last decade, sure.

So, this is "out" tomorrow, but no way to actually get it other than one of the limited vinyl's in indie stores?

Really odd to not have a digital download option.

Indie Record Stores or DMB's official shop.

Possible it shows up on Spotify at midnight?

I had this ordered by my local shop for RSD for me by my uncle. Assuming it would have been like RR95 at the $85 price point. Kinda bummed I'm paying over $100 for this

Looks like Bull Moose will have it tomorrow for $124.97 or some bat crazy shit. If they had the discs I may have grabbed it because I have a long drive tomorrow. But, imho, if you pay $125 for this you need to have your head examined. I do not care how much money you have. Buy socks for the homeless. $125 for this show

Yeah, I committed to an order before I knew the price as well, which is why I hope to keep it sealed haha. Not sure when I'll get it either.

I imagine the earliest anyone would get it from Warehouse would be next week -- MAYBE Monday if they paid the shipping.

If it were going up on Spotify, I think you'd see it on one of the stores in Europe by now, but I could be wrong.

I pre-ordered from an indie store, but cancelled it once DMB put it up for $40 cheaper on their site.

Absolutely. $125 for a digital recording pressed to an analog format of a mediocre concert played by a band 19 years past its peak. I know you lined up to buy this, but even you have to acknowledge the absurdity. Buy the cds and give the leftover $100 to food insecure elementary school kids or something. Or just be reminded what a fool you are each time you get up and walk across the room every twenty minutes to flip the sides so you can get to the track batson guests on. $100+ for a single concert is madness.

Vinyl is expensive, there is no denying it. But I collect it, and make a point to grab DMB releases and I was at the show and enjoyed it quite a bit.

And you know I didn’t line up for this release. I bought it online as I said above. Is that what you meant? I got ONLINE for it? Oooooh that make sense. Yes.

And yeah, anytime you buy anything you could have given that money to charity instead. I assume since you didn’t buy it you’ve already donated your $125?

I ordered the CD and it hasn't shipped yet. Also, there was only a 5 cent difference in price between the 2nd and 3rd shipping options.

I’ll never understand the Warehouse Store’s shipping options and pricing.

He's just saying the show is trash and a waste of $125, is all. Though, I understand why you, personally bought it...from a collector's and show attendee's standpoint.

Spend your money however you want, but just know that vinyl is the biggest fucking consumerist racket out there going.

I’ve cooled down buying vinyl a lot in the last year. Once I realized I had too many records to ever really listen to, I decided my collection was big enough. I have several records where I haven’t even listened to all the sides. Now I only buy my absolute favorite albums now. And I don’t buy anything with less than 3-4 songs per side - which means everything from DMB is off limits. I wanted to buy Thom Yorke’s ANIMA because I love it but didn’t because it’s two tracks per side. I know records aren’t made for convenience but I have my limits.
