Live at... A Limited Edition Companion to Some Devil

Pre-orders through the Warehouse store were given a disc with an additional two songs, tracks eight and nine. A second pressing of the nine-track CD was made for orders of the 2004 Dave Matthews Band calendar. A version containing only the first five tracks was included in the deluxe version of the album.

Giving this a nostalgic listen this morning.

Grey Street is as perfect as it gets in a D&T setting because Dave's vocals are so beautiful. Jimi and DIDO are really fun, entertaining tracks. Stay or Leave, in its infancy, is absolutely pristine. I just love this version. Even though Dave has a slight guitar screw up in the last chorus, he makes it work.

And the Nancies here is the highlight of the disc, with the awesome extended intro and Being Green interpolation. Hell of a version.

I've always enjoyed this disc. Really all I need from D+T '03.
