Exactly. Not my cup of tea, but my wife and daughters enjoy her.

I hate 90% of what she does, but I really like a few of her songs. Truth Hurts, Juice, Good as Hell, and Cause I Love You are pretty great songs.

Reading the new Grammy noms. Nice to see Thom Yorke up for a few and Vampire Weekend, especially the song Harmony Hall, as well.

And The Cranberries get a nomination!

One of my favorite bands is doing a little Colorado run for New Years. Circles Around the Sun announced gigs in Ft. Collins, Denver and Crested Butte. Neal Casal founded the band and they've had a few people filling in for him since his death. Eric Krasno did the fall tour. It'll be Scott Metzger from JRAD for the NYE run. Gonna hit Denver and Crested Butte, couldn't be more excited.

I really like Flags. Wish it was on the album or at least be available on Apple Music.

Pete Townshend is one of my musical heroes. He’s also a huge asshole.

I like The Who but never felt the need to go much beyond the hits.

Wow. This may be my favorite song on (not on) the album.

How likely is it that I can find those national tapes at my local record exchange tomorrow?

Speaking of Liz, I saw her in New Haven, CT a few weeks ago. She got on stage at 9:10 PM and was done by like 10:20. I did not expect such a short set, and she was the main act. Makes you really realize that Dave and the rest of DMB are not as lazy as people make them out to be.

Yeah I’m guessing ~45 minute sets from Liz and Garbage and ~90 minutes from Alanis. DMB plays much longer than most, and for similar $$$.

The one time I saw Neko Case (which was I think in 2005) her entire set including encore was less than an hour
