I came all the way here to just see you literally ignore all of the nuance within my post to once again broadly call me names and claim you’re an expert in all of this because...uh, who knows?

Yup. Hard lefty. Not interested in nuanced, detail-oriented conversations, just at throwing temper tantrums.

Just dye your hair purple, insert a bull ring, and call it a day.

to paraphrase a quote from an interview i'm sure you're familiar with, "if you only knew how ridiculous that statement is you wouldn't have said it."

The manifestations of Josh's inferiority complex isn't fucking politics. Get it out of here, too.

I don’t think the Dems can win. Bloomberg could. And I’m saying that as somebody who thinks Trump is VERY vulnerable in the rust belt

By assassinating Suleimani, Trump may have opened up a can of worms even he can't squirm out of.

Nah, he'll squirm out of it, get re-elected and we'll reduce the middle east to a legit sandbox while everyone here chants 'MAGA.' Ugh.

Too bad those missiles didn’t fall on Mar a Lago during a golf trip. That would’ve tidied up a few thousand national and international problems.

I know it’s short-sighted, it makes me a bad Dem/progressive/resister/whatever, and I’m fully prepared for history to prove me wrong, but I have to admit that right now I just can’t make myself feel that taking this guy out is a bad thing. I understand all of the arguments against it, and I agree with them in principle, but right now my gut just says that this was a good person to kill.

Clearly not a good dude, but the question becomes what preparations are made/thought was given to what happens next? Can an administration that lies about every single thing be trusted to be straight with the public on this? Are we just getting sucked back into a deeper mess in the ME?

Yup, like I said, I 100% get it. I know it. Iím not going to attempt to justify my feeling about it at all. But I look at who this is and what heís done and I just canít bring myself to say that taking him out is a bad thing. I totally expect to be wrong about it, but thatís just how it strikes me now.

Politics

C’mon guys. This guy seems like bad news and I share your sentiments, but you can’t even spell ‘Soleimani’ properly: I seriously doubt you were aware of his existence before his death. And as someone pointed out, can you REALLY take at face value the assessment of this man from an administration that has almost LITERALLY NEVER TOLD THE TRUTH?

I stand by my statement: the elimination of Trump from the world stage would be far more beneficial. Whether he chokes on a pretzel, gets removed by the Senate, or gets voted out
