I've seen BOH live quite a few times, they put on a fantastic live show, I highly recommend seeing them next time they come to town.

I spent almost every summer of my youth in Maine, my Dad lived about 1.5 hours away in Chesterville, ME and we would travel into Portland a few times a summer for Sea Dog games and other activities. During college I worked as a hockey counselor at a summer camp in Naples, I love Maine. Just wish I lived closer and could enjoy it on a more regular basis.

I grew up in Lowell, MA and every year when i was a kid my folks went up to Orchard Beach and then we headed into Portland. Great times.
The last few times I went to Portland I ate Ottos pizza, and pints at Grittys. I need to go up again. My friend lives in East Prom. |

Fantastic stuff. Hommel's a great dude too. Was awesome and really cordial to me and my fiancée when we got engaged at an SK show last year. |

Last: David Gray @ Red Hat Amphitheatre in Raleigh 8/11
It poured the whole night but he still put on a fantastic show. Threw out a Van Morrison cover (and it stoned me) and also played say hello wave goodbye which is so damn good. Next: Nickel Creek @ Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, NC 8/14

Super nice guy. So grateful we came and saw his band twice and was so interactive with my 4 and 2 year old sons who had a blast. If you haven't, check out his band. They have a website and his blend of soul, country and blues is great.

[quote=Vincent;7017139]I hear ya, he's one of my absolute favorite performers though so it's worth it to me. I absolutely love the acoustic shows which don't happen nearly as much as they should. Nothing beats being able to walk to a show from your apartment too in my book. All around beyond pumped for this one
