found two more record stores near me that I didn't know existed, they don't advertise or really have much internet presence....one in Wilkes-Barre and one in Scranton. I checked out the Scranton one on Saturday and their used vinyl inventory is humongous. I'm going to have to go there soon with 10 or so albums in mind and see what I come up with. I didn't really look much while I was there this weekend 'cause I was in a hurry.

I hear that the British first pressings of the Zeppelin albums are better than the US pressings. Is there any truth to this? By the way, I added the "Thriller" album into my collection today. |

Got Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle the other day. That one sounds so great on vinyl. Up next, I think I'll be tackling Zeppelin and the Beatles. Hoping to find some gold!

![]() Also, complete genre change... the wife and I put on some Glenn Miller and I noticed something that I found odd, although I'm new to this game so maybe it was normal for the time. This album is a two-record set of live performances, yet Side A is coupled with Side D on one and B & C are on the other.... through me for a loop. Is this typical? btw I strongly suggest adding some Glenn Miller to any collection. |

I'm going to guess that it was designed with the old 'drop the record' type record players, where you can stack 2-3 on top and it drops the next record after the previous one is finished, in mind.

![]() Yeah, that's the thing, I guess. Those of us who grew up with vinyl, etc. have enjoyed the evolution to the point now where our entire music libraries can be on a single device that's about 1/8 the size of an album ![]() |

Dude, those Michael Jackson albums are fantastic. 'Off the Wall' is in my top-5 of all time. That said, that Hooters album is pretty awful, but hey, it was $1 and didn't cost me anything more for shipping. You win some, you lose some.

I mean, I got the best of Pete Seeger the other day (also for $1)....and I've gotta say, the songs I've never heard are craptastic, but Little Boxes? That shit is a jam.
