That's got to be some asshole just trying to be controversial. That's a really fun song.

My favorite Beatles album is probably the White Album, followed by Revolver and Rubber Soul. Been really into them lately.

Good song. Fun fact: Prudence is actress Mia Farrow's sister who was with them in Rishikesh with the Maharishi and she was feeling down and wouldn't leave her tent so they wrote her this song. I'm a fountain of Beatles trivia

I decided to listen to their entire discography from first album through last. I started on Friday and I am up to "Rubber Soul" so far. It's amazing how they evolved with each album.

Not to mention how quickly they evolved. Some of those albums came out within months of one another.

this is so true. It's really incredible how fast their music grew and mature in such a short amount of time.

Octopus's Garden is a Top 10 Beatles song.

I would be hard pressed to place either of those above the L/M songs in any Top Ten List.

I have a soft spot for songs I found in my exploration phase. I started with the Blue Album and the White Album, then sort of moved backwards. But I still only listened to Red Album era songs in compilation form. So when I actually started listening to albums, things I hadn't heard more than once 10 years earlier, I was basically listening for the first time. So most of Beatles For Sale and especially songs like Every Little Thing and It's Only Love and I've Just Seen a Face are way up there for me as kind of a turning point for my appreciation of the band's entire catalog.

I've been on a 1965-1966 era kick lately. A great blend of early and later years.
