that sounds like a studio cut of Teenage Dream at the end. i'd very much like to have that.

1) Sink or Swim has really grown on me lately. Start to finish great album. These guys just don't know how to write a bad song. Something tells me radio would embrace them more if they wrote another punky album like SoS rather than another '59 Sound.

2) Ever since hearing their cover of State Love and Trust, I distinctly hear some PJ guitar influence in their musich (Sink or Swim particularly)

3) I have never heard a crowd sing lyrics louder than in that video of them with Bruce from this week.

4) Cannot wait for the new album

They are reportedly going into the studio to record #4 now. Being produced by Brendan O'Brien.

There's a whole lotta bad on that man's resume aside from Springsteen and Pearl Jam

Yeah, I feel the same. O'Brien is considered one of the very top producers in the business. And the most expensive. Which tells me their new label is serious about this album.

i love Magic. Working On A Dream is fine, but when it comes to someone like Springsteen the success or failure of an album rests sole on his shoulders.

o'brien knows how to produce a guitar driven rock record. i don't give a shit if he sometimes works with bullshit bands. he didn't get to where he is today by being a no talent hack.

Magic is certainly no Rising, but it's pretty solid. Working on a Dream is reputed to be the outtakes/b-sides from Magic, and it plays as such.

The Rising is a little overrated, imo. it's great, don't get me wrong, but it's way too long.

Great news about the producer. I expect nothing less than another fantastic effort.

Ok, so after all the hype, I'm gonna give this band a listen on Spotify. I have discovered so much new music on that program
