How in the blue fuck did the committee put Tulsa into the tournament?

No Gators this year, of course. But now that my son is starting Syracuse in the fall, and they'll be my secondary college rooting interest, it's nice to see them kinda surprisingly get in.

He was accepted to the iSchool (School of Information Studies). His first choice was Falk College for sport management, but he did not get accepted for that. But he still chose to go to SU over Penn State where he did get into the sports management program. He believes he'll be able to transfer to Falk at some point, but who knows what he'll end up doing.

Shocked Syracuse got it, but happy for Boeheim.

That had to be the fastest collapse I've ever seen. They were up by 12 with less than a minute left. The worst was that all my FB friends (I'm originally from Iowa) were saying "Sweet Sixteen" prematurely. Never do that before the clock says 0!

Yea, when they showed all those hot a&m girls basically crying with like :30 left I only kept watching in case they'd show them again. I felt so bad for UNI until I realized they totally wet their pants and didn't deserve to win. All they had to do was inbound the ball one time, and they couldn't fucking do it. The most amazing part was that they forced that 2nd ot.

A&M hit some big shots. What a great comeback.

Don't mean to tell you how to watch the game, but if you have no dog in the fight for the OU/A&M game tonight, consider this:

Right after he was hired for the job, A&M coach Billy Kennedy was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and he felt it only right to make it known to the university. He's still here.

Here's the shittier part; it's widely known that other schools in the region then began to recruit our committed players after hearing the news under a "Kennedy won't be alive for much longer, so why risk going there if he won't be there" kind of mentality.

We don't know which schools/programs took this approach, and I'm not placing blame on OU, but it wouldn't be a big stretch to assume that they might've been a part of it.

So, FWIW, beat the hell outta OU.

My grandfather is from Syracuse, so I'm always paying attention. Probably the least surprising 10 seed to reach a Final Four.

Boeheim knows his shit.

But... A 'real' fan would still call them the Orangemen, no? I mean I get being PC, but c'mon...

I don't know, it's pretty surprising. They lost 5 of their last 6 regular season games and you could have made a STRONG argument for them to not even be in the tournament.

It's amazing what they've done. Michigan State losing in the first round helped them immensely. That and Gonzaga winning.

Doesn't get much better than a buzzer beater to win a championship. Epic.

One for the AGES. I've always respected Jay Wright quite a bit and his reaction to the GW shot was priceless. Jenkins downs the shot and immediately the streams and confetti come raining down from the heavens!

Probably the best championship game I've ever seen. The only other one that i can remember being as good was the Chris Webber timeout game in 93.
