seinfeld characters stayed the most consistent of any sitcom, i would say. maybe they started being caricatures in the last season.

i thought he decided when the show ended. i think he had something to do with the writing of the final episode though.

as i understand it Jerry made the decision. but larry did come back to write the final episode, and was still technically Executive Producer and/or Co-Creator and did the Steinbrenner voice after he "left" the show

Yeah Larry David left before the last season and it was ultimately Jerry's decision to end it. But if Larry David had stayed involved I'm sure it would have lasted longer. I'm glad they decided to end it before it got stale but I think it could have gone at least another season. They were each making quite a bit per episode toward the end too.

Some people prefer the older episodes but I liked the goofy ones from the later years- The Merv Griffen Show, Kramerica Industries..

The Puerto Rican day episode was random and awesome. I think there was an issue of airing that episode also.
