Anyone going to any of these shows? I'm hitting up the second Chicago show, still looking for tickets to the first night.

So am I, I've never seen him play but I'm a pretty big fan. Glad he's finally gonna be around again, and I'm glad it's not a GA show

What's his policy on taping? I noticed that Jon Koch taped that El Rey show, and he has a pretty nice rig, but used "iRiver", not sure what that is, but I'm assuming it's something a little more stealth-like.

Also, I would love to hear your tape, I'm always looking to add to my collection, especially if it's unreleased songs.

I'm fairly new as well, I discovered him from Closer, then bought O, then a few singles/EPs here and there, but there's still so much unreleased stuff I don't know.

What is up with that stretch? He teased all those songs into each other? Or am I missing something. I'm going to download the show now regardless. Looks like a good one

Yeah, so far I just got O (with the B-sides) and then 9, which I've listened to once. I need to find more stuff. One of my friends said he has a version of him doing "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." I'd kill to hear that.

I was at the Hiro show (one of the best I've ever been to) and will be at Beacon both nights.

What's the setting like for these shows?

For the Hiro show? It was basically in a sushi restaurant. I heard they only sold 250 tickets prior to the show, but then allowed people to buy at the door. It was in a real tiny place, with an un-elevated stage, so the band was at your level and they had about 12 rows of 20 chairs in front of it. Then there were tables/booths all around it and an upstairs balcony with more tables. Great great show.

If you were asking about the Beacon show, they are standard theatre type places and a seating chart can be found on TM
