I just got this in an email.

Apparently Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote an introduction song for Benjamin Franklin for Hamilton, but couldn’t make it fit in the musical and abandoned it before he put it to music. He said that he imagined it sounding kind of like The Decemberists, so he sent the lyrics to Colin Meloy, who put it to music. Which is like catnip for someone like me. I definitely love this.

Eminem is obviously making the festival circuit this summer. I'm seeing him as a top 1 or 2 headliner out there. My question is, who is he pulling in? Is it kids, 20s, 30s or 40s?

I can't imagine him being a big reason anyone goes to a festival.

And I don't necessarily hate him or anything.

It’s borderline criminal that those two haven’t done a duo album. It would probably be the only thing I’d listen to for months if they did.

Only thing is that both artists are at their best live. I'd rather listen to both just play live than any studio recording.

It could easily be a live album. All I want is for them to write an albumís worth of music together.

RIP Fast Eddie Clarke, the last surviving member of the classic lineup of MŲtorhead. Even if you weren’t a fan, you simply can’t naysay this one, with Fast Eddie on guitar.

That’s completely out of nowhere. She was only 46.

This is just sad. I saw that she claimed to have bipolar disorder last year, so I hope it wasn't suicide.
