Sorry for no link - yes, Lossless Legs. Be good over there, it's an amazing resource/community.

If you don't feel like signing up, most things end up hitting etree a few days later.

I imagine this is a sentimental one. I'm sure the Garcia family has good memories in Hawaii with Jerry working on his health there, but this is hard to get too excited by. I wish they'd think outside the box. Or if we're going to dig into this era why not release the Eel River shows. 8/10/91 has unreleased covers of Twilight and See What Love Can Do, two of my favorite JGB covers. Oh well.

I’m happy with that release. I’m not familiar with the show, but the TLEO sounds good (it’s on Spotify, etc today), and like you said there was probably sentimentality involved. Plus, Jerry could do no wrong in ‘90, IMHO.

There's no doubt in my mind that there will be positive vibes evident in a show like this, but how many sets exactly like this do we need? I'm just a variety guy. I prefer JGB to Reconstruction but I find it odd that in 2018 we still don't have a release of the latter. So yes, this will be solid no matter what, and it's always a good thing to be releasing new Jerry, but I wish they'd dig deeper.

Hell yes!

NOT that I am complaining, but wonder how long Mayer will put his "solo" stuff on hold...

Didn’t he just do a full tour this past summer?

Mayer released a solo album and had multiple solo tours last year.

The dead toured every single year from the beginning til the end except like '75 and then like '83 when Jerry had the seizure. This isn't anything new.

God, the point was that yes while the whole d&Co gang toured, as did mayer on his own...(but the GRATEFUL DEAD who is the point not one JOHN MAYER), have been doing their thing forever...
the one not getting his due was mayer because of his vocal surgeries the last 5 years..

I am no Grateful Dead expert nor will I pretend to be. If you are asking my opinion..no question... I prefer Mayer with the dead than on his own
