Per the Almanac abut Drunken Soldier:

Drunken Soldier is the second-longest studio track ever released by the band, coming in at 9 minutes and 47 seconds, only 20 second shorter than Bartender.

This is incorrect. DS is the longest officially released studio cut. Proudest Monkey comes in second. LWS Bartender shouldn't count as it wasn't released by the band.

I would have to look at what we did here. We should never have counted anything from LWS as released for any purpose.

Interesting to see the original 6.22.99 set. Some good changes (the encore, one of my favorites ever - good), cutting Typical (bad). Dave's guitar fucks up before Last Stop and it took forever to fix, I figured any change would have come from that, but it doesn't seem to have had any impact on it.
Damn dude, I'd kill to own the set from my favorite show! Good luck

Sadly, if he sticks to $100, I'm paying $100. But I would pay it for a poster, and this is way more rare.

Honestly man, the only way you could overpay for it is if you pay more than it is worth it to you....screw whatever the market value is. I'd pay well over market value for a setlist from my favorite show because at the end of the day, I sure as hell would never sell it

I think I paid $20 on ebay for that stupid magazine that they handed out at RCMH in 2003 because that was my first show and I lost mine

And this is just my opinion- but I think setlists are by far the coolest memorabilia you can get from a concert (realistically speaking, haha. Otherwise gimme Dave's guitar instead)

I snagged a set from my favorite show (8/5/04) luckily at the show. The only one I wish I'd grabbed, but didn't, is my birthday show at Red Rocks 9/10/05.

I agree with you, but sometimes it's like, "am I really going to spend a hundred bucks on a small sheet of paper?" I would get a little frame for it with my stub though.

How can we even confirm that these are legit? Seems easy to fake.

I would kill for the 2/6/99 setlist posted on the almanac. Though, half the songs are wrong

His reputation, the other stuff in his store, Dave's handwriting is on one, I have posted 75% of the ones on the almanac. I can spot a fake pretty easily.

So, I'm in a massive overhaul of my music collection which includes adding DMBalmanac notes, reconverting shows, and listening to tracks from shows here and there. So if I have decent notes/lyrics/observations to add should I post here, PM someone, or use the submit feature on the site? I'd love to lend a hand if needed.

Here's 06/20/14 GGT lyrics:

Spoiler:
Thank you for a good good time tonight
Being here with you
show me how to spend my time
And make me feel true
So I try to remember a story
That I can tell to you
Y'all been so good
I hope I can return the favor back to you
I took a ride to see a friend
Just the other day
I guess you could call him an old friend
and he's got a lot to say
Oh, we sat awhile
a Good good time
we shed a tear and a smile
Forever is a word no more
You know what's on the line

let's have a good good time tonight
Yeah yeah yeah
Y'all know
You know I like it
but isten to what he said
it's a good thing to have a good friend
it's a good thing to have good friends
but we're all alone in the end
don't believe everything you hear
Try to find your golden rule
Love one an other, love an another
both the quick and the fool
Oh, walk tall, walk small, make a call on your own
Because you are you no matter what you do
You find your own way home
it's a good good time tonight
to be here with you
share a wine
everytime everytime everytime
good good time tonight
being here with you
rolling it back rolling it back
don't know what to do

I'm so glad to be with you
don't believe
don't beleive
I don't believe that there's a light that shines
so bright as the light that shines from you
you're a good good time tonight
and if you want to hold on
if you wanna hold onto that feeling
you've got to let it go
man, gotta be a soul
gotta be a soul
like a, like a river flows
I tell a friend
you gotta, you gotta you gotta shine on, shine on
have a good good time tonight

he said, she said, I said, you said
there's gotta be some more
cuz sticks and stones will break your bones
but words will start a war
let's have a good good time tonight
forget about the world for awhile
you and me be alright
Let's have a good good time tonight
roll one up, swallow one down
what ever shines your light
have a good good time tonight

you and me being
everything's gonna be alright
thank you for a good good time tonight
I'll not soon forget the way you make me feel
It's time
shine on, shine on, shine on
next time, we're gonna have a good good time
yeah, a good good time tonight

don't forget, don't forget
it's gonna be alright
good good time tonight
thanks to you
I don't believe there's a light that shines so bright as the light that shines from you
let's have a good good time tonight

good good time tonight

Do you guys want ticket stubs from Sydney/Melbourne? There were no warehouse tickets, so they're pretty standard looking. Unfortunately, bluesfest took the tickets and issued wristbands, so I don't have those.

It's 2 sections. verse + chorus, verse+bridge, what have you. It's all *slightly* subjective because all songs are different and what constitutes a section, but we try to keep it consistent across the board.

Water Into Wine, would be through a "Round and round the world goes round again" section, because that's the chorus.

Ok, the 6.24.99 setlist is back up and priced reasonably. Please do me a favor and if you're going to bid on this, let's talk via PM and see how high we're willing to go in private so we can save some money. I'm definitely going in on it.

So the Toronto version counts as full then?
