Yeah, I held out love for Qdoba for several years of living where there weren’t any, but after finally trying it again a few years ago I found myself unimpressed. And Chipotle has queso now too.

I had Chipotle today. There’s a corelife across the street. Just added it to my “to try” list!

Chipotle > Qdoba for me for sure.

But I think Chipotle has regressed over the last 3 years.

The Denver food scene is underwhelming, but we do Mexican right.

Both are awesome.

I've lost a ton of weight recently (the one positive of mental illness!)

Went to chipotle recently and couldn't finish my burrito. I was happy and ashamed at the same time

I have heard this and didn't want to waste money finding out if it's true.

Chicken, brown rice, black beans, verde salsa, cheese, sour cream.

The chorizo is really good. It was a big change for me as I'm usually barbacoa, and it seemed dry to me at first.

Barbacoa
Black Beans
Brown Rice
Hot Salsa
Light Sour Cream
Cheese

I also ask them to mix it up before wrapping it. Makes a huge difference to not bite directly into half of the sour cream and they're always friendly about it.

+chips & salsa

But I do mix it up there quite a bit, one of the few places I do. I go with one of chicken, steak or chorizo 25% of the time.

Also I change from burrito to bowl or salad depending on when I eat or fat I feel that day, or how willing I am to accept how fat I will feel after.

So true. It is disgusting. I wonder why they are ok serving that garbage.

Everything else they serve though, is delicious.

The key is always the hottest salsa. And they are seldom hot enough.

I’m in Flagstaff now. Huge queso fan. Tried Chipotle again recently because I heard they have queso. That place is still a big joke to me. That and while they have the ingredients mostly correct, it still tastes as bland as Cafe Rio. Qdoba all the way. $8 for as many toppings as you want and flavorful queso. Just can’t beat it

I am still open to more suggestions. I’ll keep trying, but the points I have saved at Doba are getting murdered in the first 3 days when I get back to Michigan in 10 days.
