laugh all you want, I could care less, but I don't think such thing exists when we don't have a studio version and it's made up every time

So we've never had a full Granny? Or a full Sugar Will? Because there's no studio version to compare it to.

I guess the point is, how do you define full/partial? And why don't we put [partial] next to Grey Street if we're going to start doing this?

Some could say that if the band puts the song on the setlist and plays it, then they played it, regardless of length. I dunno, it's a retarded discussion for the most part.

I wish. I can't stand Grey Street in its current form.

I'm comfortable with the almanac's definition of the variations of #40:

"We require a partial version to at least go through the part of the song that usually has the word "always" (though occasionally other lyrics are sung during this part). A tease is anything short of that mark, and a full version is at least two verses and two choruses."

Does he make up the words to granny everytime? Does he make up the words to sugar will every time? No

They're structured songs, however, a routine improv version of number 40 with carter improvising a beat towards the end is not IMO

Seriously, can we just be done with this? it's my opinion, nothing more. It's all a stupid technicality anyways

I also agree with their distinctions. There definitely should be a distinction between dave playing around with the C chord and what they did at in Pitt. Also, a distinction between what they did at Pitt and a "full" Yoshis version.
