Well... I've all but come to a decision that I should do it (make the change), in about 10 minutes I'll be heading to lunch with my current boss to let him know about the offer and the likelihood of my exit (baring any wild counter offers, which will not happen and generally is not feasible in the corporate setting)... never fun.

Thanks again everyone, and good luck MaLaKas

I went to high school with the mother and we talked after our sons were born since they are about the same age...

When my mom said " I know a lady who watches kids at her house" I told her there was no way in hell that was going to happen and I would pay extra to send them to a learning center... THIS IS WHY!

And the daycare being licensed, not only is that owner going to jail for a very long time, but this will cause all kinds of problems for the family of the kid too, legally. I wonder if insurance will even pay out in this kind of circumstance. It's just terrible all around.

We're the parents under the assumption that it was licensed?

Doesn't say. If they were then there's fraud in there as well. I've got a great idea: If you're responsible for small children and in a legally dubious position as to their care, don't take your stupid fucking eyes off of any of them.

Aw man, that sucks....sorry about that.

A buddy said a little while back as his dog was dying, that the day you bring a dog home, the clock is ticking until they're gone.....that's stuck with me and kind of a shitty way to look at it, but it's so true.

It always is hard to lose a pet, sorry for the loss.

I lost my buddy (dog) last January, it was hard not being able to say goodbye but I'll always have good memories with him.

Probably mentioned it before but I threw dirt on my 16 year old dog AND my 18 year old cat this past year. Fuckin weird how pets weave into your heart. Animals make me such a gay sap
