Jimi, Donít Drink and Bayou were 1, 2 and 3 of the night. Prolly done the same every night but they absolutely killed. Watchtower hit clean up.

DT and Last Stop were fun but left some blue balls.

May have been par for the course overall but #95 for me and that was awesome. Crowd and band were on fire.

How much of DT did they play? And was it full band?

He sang like half of the first verse no guitar or band

I’m really upset about what they’ve done to The Last Stop. To me, it’s a deliberate fuck You to fans. Take what we give you and up yours if it’s not good enough

Yeah, it's a real travesty. Just another reason to be indifferent about the current state of the band/the future.

I'd take nearly all the songs in the sets, but the flow/pacing looks like it would be so stilted and awkward, though.

But if you were there, I hope you had fun.

It looks like a good show to me. Much less of the cookie cutter. Say Bye, LIOG, Last Stop, and Pig those would make a good show for me. Honestly, if they played played Bayou the way it was played at SPAC then that would be a highlight too.

So last night's performance was truncated as well? The Almanac didn't specify so I was hopeful they played it in full.

The show poster was actually inspired by the song so my guess is that Dave knew as much and put in about as much effort as we've come to expect from him to actually do something cool for the fans.

Seriously. Look at the shit sandwich LIOG found itself inside of. + DT blue balls and a half stop. And a weird backend. If I had to try to give some credit, at least they (he) moved Bayou from the top

This is what I don’t get about Half Stop: it’s like 4:45 right now. Presumably this is because they’re old and can’t go the distance anymore. Usually when they play the whole thing it’s like, what, 12-20 mins, historically?

I feel like with minimal creative effort they can get it to 7 minutes and still include a short jam and then the outro. Another 2+ minutes than it is now.

After Dave sings the final “this is the last stop” verse, go into a shortened transition between the song and the outro, nail the outro, jam it out for another minute, then end it.

It doesn’t have to be 12 minutes OR four and a half minutes. It can still be shortened and still be fantastic with a little creativity and slight work on rearrangements. Of course, this would mean proactive WORK, and we know how the band feels about that.

All of this makes me believe these Half Stops really are an FU to the hardcores.

Problem is Josh, you make too much sense.

I think full performances were closer to 10 minutes than 20

I don’t think it’s because the outro is too taxing. I’m in the camp of I’d rather not hear it than hear how they’re currently playing it.
