Biggest thing for me is the song selection and misuse of the catalog. This summer was just a really boring tour to follow or care about. They didn’t open up the catalog or bust out enough exciting stuff throughout.

Too many nights were exactly the same. Good summer tours have had me wanting to download shows or listen to specific tracks—like in 2016 when we had the new songs, or like in 2013 when stuff like CE came back in a reworked form. We had none of that this summer. Best we got was a truncated last stop, and spoon.

I just can’t imagine how disappointing their (first) declared Farewell Tour will be. I mean, I’m going, but he probably won’t care any more THEN about opening up the catalog than he does now.

I’d so much rather watch them train-wreck/roll-eyes/laugh/recover DOOF, Dreaming Tree, Beachball, Hello Again, ADSR, insert-deeper-trax than Y&M late-set, the dumbass/garbage CT tracks, Sister, DDTW, SqueakStreet 90% of the shows. But I’m just wearing my Captain Obvious hat today.

Oh yeah, the eventual farewell tour will be the hits and nothing but the hits, so help them Rashawn.

Lower/slower was my gut pick, but the setlist choices by Dave are a near 2nd.

The single biggest improvement would be Rashawn stepping away, allowing Jeff to step up. But I don't see that happening.

I'd be content with no violin replacement ever if the trumpet also went away for good.

Lol.

also pretty much all the above, but with Boyd getting his life together and coming back. #1 issue is Dave's setlists though.

My brother still seems to think an eventual Boyd return is feasible given some criteria. I do not think there is a chance that ever happens.
