Anyone been to the LOCKN Fest? Thinking about going and just curious if anyone here has done it.

i went last year and had a blast. the grounds where the festival is held are really nice, thought it was well run overall and the best part is that you don't need to choose between different stages and bands that you would want to see. you can see every show that is there over that whole weekend. i would definitely go back.

Those dates are money for me. I'll be at the same 3 shows Fan#41! Usually don't get to more than 1-2 sUMmer shows, pumped.

I think the most I've seen them in a single year was 4 shows, so this year would make 5 for me. I'm also really hoping they do NYE in the Northeast this year too.

UM just surprise dropped a new album, "it's you."

We have been saying it in various ways over the past twenty years, but let our actions speak for us today as we present another new album to affirm that it’s truly not us, but rather you, our fans.

After completing the latest recording sessions and digesting the volume of material we had tracked, it grew increasingly clear that a single album wasn’t realistic. The collective level of enthusiasm around the majority of these tunes made us reluctant to leave much on the cutting room floor (rarely the case). And that is why today we’re elated to continue our 20th Anniversary celebration by unveiling the new, new album from Umphrey’s McGee, it’s
you.

it’s you Track List:

Triangle Tear 4:55
What We Could Get 4:35
Push & Pull 3:30
In The Black 4:42
Xmas At Wartime 3:44
Seasons 6:37
Nether 4:13
Hanging Chads 1:20
Attachments 6:05
Upward 5:45

Yep listened to this last night. Awesome surprise, and it's better than It's Not Us. Good stuff. Seeing them tonight and tomorrow.

Hell yeah, enjoy. I'm hoping they announce a Chicago show or two during Summer Camp. Until then, I got a 30db show last week, Omega Moo's x2, and then BB & Joel & Friends next month.

I didn't think it was better, and there nothing close on a level of Remind Me to me, but it was still a good listen and a great surprise when I opened my nugs subscription to listen to some band's recent show and it was there. Then I googled it and got next to nothing until I found the Relix article.

Yea regardless of opinion it's an awesome surprise. On the whole it just gives more of the UM sound I prefer. I could definitely agree that it might not hit the highs of INU, but it's a very solid set of tunes through and through.

Really nice show in Providence tn btw

Anybody going to Boston in a couple weeks? #50 for me, should be a good time.

Also can we change the thread title? I'm sure it was meant to needle somebody back in the day when it was changed to what it is now, but it's obnoxious.
