Wow spoon coming back this year at this event is a surprise to me. I basically said to myself i would get excited for raven and spoon and Dave plays both tonight.

Also I must say being at a resort 15 minutes away was tough but there was just no way to get to the show without buying one of the packages.

Lazy set writing again, 20% covers.
No need for three of those covers last night. Could have easily swapped them out over the three nights

Canít agree with you there. Warren and Brandi guested, one was Brandiís original song and the other 2 were Warren guest staples.

I'll never understand some folks' obsession with blasting Dave for covers. There's always been covers, at least one or two per show. And most of them are good/great choices.

I don’t mind a cover with a guest, but otherwise, no thanks.

Watchtower and The Maker, to me, are DMB songs.

I'm not a Brandi Carlile fan, so I won't weigh in there.

Worried Man Blues is in the same vein as Rye Whiskey for me, can't stand it.

A Whiter Shade of Pale is a legendary tune, don't mind that in the E1 slot.

I also have a soft spot for Funny How Time Slips Away, as I'm fond of the 2001 tour where it was played a ton, so I'd always welcome that in the E1 spot, as well.

Nah. It's a better song. I'd compare Burning Down the House to Rye Whiskey in terms of annoyance level though.

Ok so instead of 3, 2 could have been moved to the other nights and even things out

personally I don't think a lot of the covers they do are all that special and can see them performed at local bars for free so I don't want to pay $115 to see them.
That goes for most bands, I don't go to see Zac Brown and hope he plays Ants

I like the song but thought it was boring when DMB played it in the acoustic set.

Almost 70 songs. No repeats.

Sure, I suppose in some other dimension thatís considered lazy.

It has nothing to do with repeats, it has to do with 20% of the show was covers when they could have moved 2 of them to other nights in exchange for another song and made it more even.
Or better yet, don't rely on covers to start. There were plenty of dmb songs that could have replaced the four covers that didn't include guest spots

if this is the point you're at you might just need to sell your tickets this summer. These 3 shows are pretty much the best we can expect in 2019 with high number of "meh" songs in the catalog. I think it was a really great 3 night stand with guests, highlights, surprises and a good spread of the catalog. Less covers? Sure, but that's a really minor thing to be upset about. They played 70 songs, no repeats and busted out some nice rare ones as well (Spoon, first time ever Cortez D+T, first PFWYG D+T since '03 and first in general since 2015).
