Yeah they should release these, the Mexico shows have all been really good and creative setlist wise.

I really like tonight’s set for a N1, lots of good stuff and great surprises. Warehouse opener is awesome and new song debut (though it sucks) still nice to get.

Clown is just yet again a another slow boring piano ballad about innocence—sounds like a CT Bside.

Too bad about Clown. Thought Dave would have the balls to write a song about Trump. Oh well.

Based on one kind of bad quality video I saw/heard:

“Clown”

I see what’s behind all the color and innocence
The magician is trained to deceive
And innocence stands as tall as a giant
That goes crumbling down to his knees

I go over these dreams
And I wanna fix everything
But innocence don’t fair so well, so well

Then it just repeats that all over again one more time. Short simple song but nothing at all to be even remotely excited about.

I like the melody a lot, but I don't understand why Dave is becoming more averse to guitar. If he wrote a good guitar part around this melody, I'd enjoy this more.

Sounds like the same shit he always writes now. More sleepy piano shit, stupid half falsetto through the whole thing, say innocence 4 times.

This is almost exactly what I got:

I see what's behind the curtain of innocence
the magician is trained to deceive
and innocence stands as tall as a giant
that goes crumbling down to his knees

I go over this dream
and I want to fix everything
but innocence don't fare so well
I go over these dreams
I want to fix everything
but innocence don't fare so well
so well

I see what's behind, oh, these curtains and innocence
the magician is trained to deceive
and innocence stands as tall as a giant
that goes crumbling down to its knees

I go over my dreams
and I want to fix everything
but innocence don't fare so well
yeah, I go over my dreams
I want to fix everything
but innocence don't fare so well
so well

Also, it appears to be from [Only registered users can see links.] , which Dave has music credits for and is based on a poem called [Only registered users can see links.] , which Dave apparently thinks is the best piece of literature ever.

Looked at the set today on the way in. Not a bad show at all, Clown sounded boring AF from what Tambo sent me.

Let's get through 2 nights with no repeats and see what else gets shaken loose. I'm honestly more curious if Tim is doing any of his new album as the "Tim" songs cause some of those are really cool and I'd love to hear them acoustic.

I’d like to restate how awful I think this event is. I’m a huge hater. I don’t blame the tapers for skipping this. Who wants to spend $3k to be around drunk fam

It’s a nice getaway vacation—yeah expensive but if I had the cash I’d go. Don’t understand the appeal for Dave and Tim in that setting though—would be more enticing if it was full band.
