Anyone notice that the crowd noise before R&R and Minarets is exactly the same?

yeah i listen to it quite a bit. i love how much crowd there is in the mix. i complained a lot about carter being mixed low, but besides that it might be my favorite mix out of the dmblive's.

I agree. I'm always knit-picking when it comes to crowd noise in mixes so this is a favorite of mine. I get used to Carter about 3 or 4 songs in. Still wish he was mic'd in better for that show but whatever, still great performances.

Yeah this is still my favorite of the (full band) DMBlives so far. Rhyme/Minarets/Watchtower

Haven't listened to this one in a while. Still one of the best in the series so far.

Just started this one, and yeah, Carter being basically just picked up by the open mics is definitely initially off-putting. Going to have to get used to that. Nice Recently, though.

Finished it, and it's another great choice. The second set is the gem here, with Two Step, Ants, Rhyme and Minarets really standing out. I thought that the Jane on here was pretty exceptional too, with Boyd and Carter really playing the hell out of the intro.

So I pulled this one out again today, and while I liked it the first time, I do finally understand why I was seeing people rank this among the best DMBLive releases. There's a real crackling energy to this show, and that Rhyme is one of the best on record. I've said this before, but those early '94 shows are the absolute best Boyd has ever sounded in my opinion.

Just listened to this again yesterday, this show has such great energy. The crowd is really into it and the band is responding. I know a lot has been said about the end run of the show but this Recently opener is one of the better versions I've ever heard.
