pj song sounded great. the sound quality was crap though. i could tell there's some good hooks in it, and i'm continually impressed year after year as the band gets older they seem to play faster and harder. jeff was all over the fucking place and stone was moving more than i've ever seen.

new song the fixer (?) and conan announced their new album Backspacer (not a fan of the name) is due in the fall. he held up a record cover that may be the cover, it looked kind of cool, but it might just be a generic art for nothing at all.

first episode was ok... the beginning dragged a bit, but this should be quite good.

Sure was awkward at the beginning - it was like his timing was way off so there was some weird dead space in his monologue, and those pre-taped segments were so slow. I'm sure the shows will get better though.

Yeah the Universal Studios tram bit was sort of a dud. There were laughs in there but not enough for how long it took. The crowd saved it though by chanting circle at the end.

I really enjoyed the Will Ferrell interview though.

I thought it was a great first show, although some of the bits did seem to drag on, I actually loved the Universal one...I wish they get Max more involved and realize how great he was at doing just the smallest things, which isn't taking anything away from Andy, but having him just stand there and laugh is kind of pointless (pretty sure they did this with Leno, although I could never get into him so I didn't really care to notice).

Yea, the Taurus one was completely stupid and not needed, I forgot about that one until you mentioned it Spence.

Yeah, the Taurus one was definitely not needed.

I loved the beginning part when he runs through Wrigley though.
