Buddy fits right in, too.

The weird thing about Buddy's playing, for me, is that he's better at doing the Butch Taylor quiet, jazzy adding texture thing than Butch Taylor was. He just doesn't do that very often, opting instead for extremely present organ. But when he does go for piano, or electric piano sounds, like on Recently, it's amazing. This is one of the reasons that Typical on the recent Warehouse release is great, too.

Yeah I agree, I think he will find that balance. I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt given that he is only a Tour and a quarter into his tenure.
