What the fuck? This is just... baffling. I do not understand how they make their choices.

They must be holding onto the good stuff for box sets once the band is officially done. Fall 98, summer 2000, 97, 98, 99 etc.

We think itís weird too. There are a few other shows that are doing it, too. No real obvious reason why.

Seems like Sweet Up and Down is really on the band’s mind lately.

Seek Up, Shotgun, Idea of You, a rare Sweet Up and Down, new songs Corn Bread and #27, plus some other good and mediocre songs. Hope it's well mixed.

The biggest annoyance about this release is that the 9.14.07 LiveTrax covered every notable highlight in this one already.
As everyone mentioned, if youíre gonna do 2007 again, there are a couple incredibly obvious better choices.

Part of me feels like Trey has something to do with that. Thereís a reason that song was played in D+F. It also got liberated in Ď07 shortly before Trey guested with them in Hartford. And literally right after he shows up in Mexico it pops up again. Could be coincidence but Iíll take it.

Going to give this tape a whirl today. It's not the best we have, so an official release just based on that is a +1 for me.

First thing that really stood out to me was Butch on the latter part of Corn Bread....I'm excited for a mixed version of this to hear exactly what he's doing.

Such a random selection. You could pick hundreds of better shows and at least a handful from 2007. Strange pick but I'm definitely going to listen.

This is entirely true. Seek Up, while always great, doesn't particularly stand out. WPB gave us Shotgun, Sweet Up & Down, Corn Bread, Bridge>Too Much. The rest? Whatever.

It's not an AWFUL release, but they could've done so much better, even for a 2007 show.

Thought about that one, but I suggested that one before and was corrected, hah. John Mayer's also on that 10/2 hollywood bowl show and it's a better performance.
