I know for myself I was really into that record when it came out, it felt like there was some excitement around the band again. Idk that it's aged great, but I still understand the appeal.
Agreed. I felt the same way. While I still had issues with certain aspects of the band's sound at the time, I felt like 2009 was a year filled with energy and hope for the future.

I will not buy it over BTCS, but I would buy it if it comes out. Stand-up will probably be be the only one I don't buy.
Everyday does not sound like DMB. To me at least.

Same.

2002-04 and 2008-09 were definitely my favourite times to be a DMB fan (I wasn't a fan before 2001).

I could be wrong, but from what I’ve seen over the years, it seems like both hardcore and casual fans greatly respect BTCS. I think the reissue would sell very well. Maybe even sell out quickly.

I respect that. Personally for me, ‘98-00 and ‘02-04 were my favorite times in my fandom (I got into the band in ‘96 and I was very young then, so it took me some time to become a hardcore).

my peak was 96-2000 - with probably the most intense interest right around BTCS release. I'll never forget buying the CD at the Virgin Megastore on Champs Elysee in Paris. It was the Spring semester of my junior year in college and I was studying abroad. That album dominated my listening and I will forever associate it with Paris, the summer stadium shows, and then fall of my senior year.

They should re-record Everyday for its 20th anniversary. Or at least put out a live version of it.

I Did It (2015)
When the World Ends (2001)
The Space Between (2014)
Dreams Of Our Fathers... ah damn, nevermind.

Yea. The BTCS album release is when I really became a hardcore fan as well. I remember listening to it so much from sophomore through senior year of high school so much. That along with the other rock albums of that time period. It was a counterbalance album to the nu-metal scene that was developing during that time as well .
