You package up a deluxe set w/LP, CDs, a nice book with essays from the band/photos from the sessions - maybe even a DVD if there was any making of footage. Put a few hundred dollar price tag on it and release. I'd hit that.

Dave is way too much of a wuss to do something like that though.
Yup

Good write up on the cover [Only registered users can see links.]
I personally think it is mid block An donít on the corner or at least zoomed in.
Base that on closeness of street lights, traffic light, athletes foot store front

i dont see them issuing anything LWS related, because they barely acknowledge it.

That being said, I would buy anything and everything related to a LWS reissue if it were to happen.

I'm most likely wrong, even in myself trying to be funny, but would it actually be a reissue of LWS since it was ever really released?

I would however, spend a good amount of money if they ever did release something LWS related. Would be awesome and unprecedented from this band.

Agreed. It's like trying to make 'fetch' happen.

It's not going to happen.

I don't actually think they'll do this, but they could include the Lillywhite sessions as bonus material on the Everyday reissue since the LWS are technically Everyday outtakes. Would be a surefire way to get people to actually buy the Everyday reissue.

I'm down with that option as well. It would be the silver lining in that release and that's totally fine.

I think you would have a better chance of something like that with Busted Stuff

I honestly don't think there's a chance of it with anything. From a marketing standpoint, though, it would help sell more copies of Everyday than it would Busted Stuff. But, again, I think there's zero chance the Lillywhite sessions get an official release in any capacity until *possibly* after the band has broken up and/or left RCA.

Am I the only one who thinks current DMB fans are more likely to buy an Everyday reissue than a BTCS reissue?

Was going to say this. Don't sleep on how many people will buy 'Everyday' on vinyl. I'm not ready to have the 'Stand Up' discussion in this same vein, though.

I don’t think so. You could maybe make a case for big whiskey. I’m surprised how popular that record is.

I would totally buy Everyday on vinyl just to have it and maybe listen a few times. The lyrics may be bad on some songs, but it still sounds like DMB musically and the production is good.

I will not buy it over BTCS, but I would buy it if it comes out. Stand-up will probably be be the only one I don't buy.

I feel like DMB had such a burst of energy in 08 compared to the previous few years and then rallying around Roi's passing to make BW (which at least at the time felt like a monumental step up from Stand Up) gave it a special place with people. I know for myself I was really into that record when it came out, it felt like there was some excitement around the band again. Idk that it's aged great, but I still understand the appeal.
