Possibly dumb question: Friends is about to disappear from Netflix Jan 1. I downloaded a few eps for offline use for travel this past week. I assume my offline-use downloads will disappear when the show disappears, right?

Unless you stay in offline mode til they expire and you have to connect to renew them.

The Mandalorian season was pretty great. Definitely curious about that ending. Season 2 has been announced, tentatively for fall 2020.

I enjoyed this 1st season very much and I think they set up season 2’s narrative and direction pretty well.

Three episodes to go for me for The Man in the High Castle; then need to plow through 'You' Season 2, despite how much I disliked the back half of S1. Then 'Manifest' comes back, as well as the conclusion of The Good Place.

Likely Better Call Saul, F is For Family and Ozark new seasons soon, too. Can't wait.

I can't wait for season 3 of Ozark and Dark.

I'm rewatching The Morning Show with a friend who hasn't seen it. It's cool to see how well done episode 1 was (knowing what goes down in later episodes).

It is. I think they have a free 7-day trial, otherwise it's around $5/mo. (I got a free year with my replacement iphone this fall)

Started HBO's 'Succession' last night, watched the pilot episode and enjoyed it.

Chatting with my boss today about movies/tv we watched over the break.

Him: "Have you watched "You"? I didn't think I'd like it but was pleasantly surprised"

Me: "No I haven't but I know the wife wants to watch it, I'll check it out soon. It's about a stalker or something right?"

Him: "Yea, here's the deal..." proceeds to literally spoil the entire plot and twists of the season

WTF man

I’ve enjoyed the You memes without knowing anything about the show.

I finished True Detective season 2. I liked season 1 more but I didn't think 2 was nearly as bad as the reviews. Colin Farrell was so freaking good. God, was it dark and depressing though. Also, this show is really at/past my limit for violence. I watched two scenes holding up a piece of paper to block my view. Hope to start season 3 soon.

Ozark season 3 is out March 27!

WTF man

When The Sixth Sense came out I was eating lunch at school. A friend of mine was telling me it was really good and "very surprising" and this girl next to us goes "Yeah like when you find out Bruce Willis is dead!"

I hated that movie

I thought S3 was great. Mahershala and Dorff are really good together.
