Nah. I love covers sprinkled around here and there. And I liked all the ones that debuted last year (aside from Hurricane). 2008's covers were great too.

The Maker is a classic too.

Though I wouldn't mind Watchtower taking a break, to be honest.

I could hear the Maker at every show and walk away happy, absolutely love that tune. Such a good groove. As for Watchtower, put it to rest for a couple years. If they insist on playing it, do away with Stefan's solo. It's tired at this point and doesn't help that its followed by that slow acoustic intro. It's funny because I was listening to it on one of the more recent releases and Watchtower clocks in around nine minutes. Once you chip away the bullshit you have two or three good minutes at the end.

As for a new cover....how about an instrumental. Chuck Magione's "Feels So Good". You tube it and tell me that's not a great song for DMB.

If they're going to do White Album, I think Back in the USSR would suit them better, or maybe Helter Skelter.

Can't argue with ya there. I could just see DMB doing a sing along with the crowd with Obla-Di.
