Or have Tim come out first and start playing this as the rest of the band comes onstage. It would be so ridiculous but who cares?

Or if they want to try their hand at an instrumental, it would be fun to hear them play this:

^ I actually tweeted Stefan about that song a year or two ago and he said it was "a great idea for a cover. Thx"

They should totally play One Winged Angel and have Boyd resurrect Aeris on stage at the end of the song.

Since they've been doing a lot of classic rock lately, I think it'd be funny to something by Van Halen, like Unchained or Ain't Talkin Bout Love

I can just hear Dave's screaming on Ain't Talking 'bout Love and the horn section and the absence of boyd... idk, just sounds like another one of those decent songs that don't do anything for me as a cover like bitch and burning down the house

I love that Moon theme, but not in a million years. The Kefka thing would just be stupid.

They should do a whole medley from Final Fantaskree.

I'm going to have to agree. Good thing there's a -0.0001% chance of it ever happening.

Haha, I don't care if they cover silly video game tunes or cartoon theme songs. As long as it sounded good, or at least something different. Why does it matter?

It humors me that some of you would get pissed depending on WHAT cover they play. I don't get it, why? Who cares what Coheed and Cambria do? I don't like their music, but if they have a cool idea, I'm not going to bash them for it.

Instead of C&C, it seems something more like Phish would do. After all, if they would be willing to play this, I'm sure that a silly Ducktales tune isn't out of the question.

Anyways, back in '04 when I first heard the intro to Sugar Will, it made me think of the Kefka tune.

Also, I'd be down for a one-off show of just Christmas tunes. I know this will get bashed beyond belief, but I'd likely enjoy the hell out of it. I saw a Guster show maybe 8 or 10 years ago, and they played all Christmas tunes. I'm not religious or anything, but I do enjoy some Christmas tunes, when the season is right. And the Guster show was amazing. (We knew going in what kind of show it was, so it wasn't like we were expecting a regular concert).

I thought the Barenaked Ladies Christmas shows were cool, but IIRC they just played a short set of seasonal songs, then a longer set of regular ones. I would have no problem with DMB doing something like that if it were for something special, or maybe part of a larger thing with more bands.
