yeah i can picture dave singing it, especially the chorus. it's mainly the band. but if they just center it around tim and the horns similar to that no doubt version it could work.

i'm certainly open to it

Yea, I mean, it might have been better for the Butch era, but they could do it... make it their own.

plowing through the stereo remasters a year or two ago pretty much filled my Beatles quota for a few years.

"Desmond stays at home and does his pretty face, and in the evening she's a singer with the band"

always wanted that to be a cross dressing thing. But i guess it was just a mistake during recording.

I saw "Rain" in boston recently. It was fun being there stoned and letting mind lapse. Paul was pretty spot on. John, almost, George was to fat in the face but the best musician out there. It was great fun seeing the paul character say, "hey boston how we doin?" in that little way Paul would stand. Overall good performances.

I saw "Rain" in Philly this February. Highly reccomend it for any Beatles fans. One of my friends isnt even a big Beatles fan and he loved it. Your right, Paul was spot on.

If DMB would ever do a cover from the White album, they better do While My Guitar Gently Weeps. They have Timmy, make it happen, George would be proud of his solo at the end.

I was never a fan of that one. Maybe it's just a victim of circumstance, coming out in 2005 and all.

If anything, coming out in 2005 made it even better. It was probably the best song they debuted that year.

Yea, that and #34 made 2005 at least bearable.

Truth. I'd have loved them to try "She's Not There" as well, if they were going to have Butch and do a Zombies thing.
