One of my favorite singers put out 3 records last week. 1 is brand new the other 2 is new to streaming services.

All I can say is check him out. A Love Extreme (2008) is brilliant. He writes get pop melodies with interesting lyrics.

This is my favorite of the new stuff. If you're an Avett Bro's fan they've covered it. Cool song

There is no better songwriter in this current day than Jason Isbell. The new album is so damn good.

I found a new podcast for you music obsessives, and particularly the obsessives of a certain age. It’s called “Wind of Change,” and it’s an investigation by a New Yorker writer about the rumor that the song Wind of Change by Scorpions, the song that became the anthem of the end of the Cold War, was actually written by the CIA as part of the psy-ops campaign to destabilize the Soviet Bloc. It’s fascinating.
