Can I be that guy? Does anyone have the actual files or a link to DL from? I found them on Soundcloud but ripping all those songs in real time would take a while, and the person hosting them claims to not know how to send files. If anyone could help a brother out...

This would be a great time for the band to release Cavallo sessions, or like all the unreleased B-side stuff. it's the least they can do for canceling an entire tour. Give us some juicy shit. We all know there's a huge vault of it. They were recording fairly consistently on and off from 2010-2019 and a lot of that stuff is got to be out there. No one cares if some of it is trash and unfinished. Let's have it.

Yes. I'm afraid to hear what treatment Sugar Will got in the studio, though.

There has got to be some 2004-era studio cut of it, right? Hopefully before Batson got his hands on them. A studio version of what was on the Stand Up bonus disc could be a top-5 track from them, regardless of who produced it.

You can hear about a minute of what it sounds like on Road to Big Whiskey from what’s probably late 2008, early 2009 and it’s awesome.

Do you remember which one? I think there are around 7 parts to that series

It's possible, I'm sure its out there somewhere. I'm not sure if the band went into the Studio prior to Batson in '04/'05, someone else could shed some light on that, I thought the reason they hired Batson was because they couldn't get on board for the studio before that. Could be wrong though. Either way, there are recordings of all those '04 tunes, if not then, for sure in the last decade.

There were 4 parts and it was in part 4. I actually watched it yesterday, have a DVD I burned way back.

On youtube, it's part 6. Around the 10:10 mark

Yeah sounds exactly like the version they play live now. You can tell Dave hates the studio though. He was complaining hard. He does not like being pushed.

Not really getting this, but ok. Iíve seen glimmers of this sentiment in other situations (LWS to name one) but not here.

I dont think its too far fetched what hes saying. Dave says something like "I you want me to hurry up, you have another thing coming here". Also i agree, it basically sounds exactly like how they play it live these days.

Listening to ABC this morning. I really do love a lot of the material on here. Pretty cool for us that something like this surfaced.

The biggest shock for me, besides how great Drive Me Away and Early home are is that Plastic Girl isn't buried on this thing somewhere. I listened to that song a few days ago and it had 2006 Batson vibes written all over it.

The last three minutes of the Plastic Girl debut fuck so hard. Itís worth the first half in my opinion.

Musically there's nothing wrong with Plastic Girl. Dave's singing and lyrics are what ruin it.
