Maybe they will play that new song. Or maybe a few of them. That would be the only reason. They aren't busting out anything from the catalog most likely and they don't need to practice the songs we know they're going to play. So hopefully that means we'll see at least 1 new song. They practiced for a week for Charlottesville last year and they gav us 3 new tunes and last stop.

If they end up webcasting it, my buddy's going to bring a projector over and we'll watch it all at my house. If they don't webcast it, then he, my wife, and I will drive up to C-ville and see if we can find tickets. If not, we'll listen from the parking lot or, if it's accessible, the hill (behind the stage).

I still can't figure out how so many people got declined and so few people seem to have been accepted.

The event page in Facebook is full of people swapping tickets it seems. Maybe look there.

When have they ever shown they thought this deeply into something? I feel like everyone said something similar about another benefit show and they played the song anyways.

I just think its a bit of a stretch to think they would factor that in.

If there is a YouTube link you probably won't even need to. They've been keeping the streams up (Hurricane Relief Benefit, Farm Aid)
so you can easily rewatch or capture from the full quality source.

I keep thinking it's a hurricane related benefit since there's been 37 hurricanes since then... but I'm glad it's being streamed
