Funny.. I'm downloading that show now I don't see LT43 yet - and I wasn't intending to purchase. Yea, reviews are surprising. I thought the whole mix issue was behind us....

Is it sad that I may purchase the mp3s while waiting on my CDs?

Comparing him to Rashawn is pretty unnecessary..totally different instrument and totally different sound. And to be fair, Tim does a bunch of cheesy stuff too.
Agree with all of this. I'd take cheesy Butch at his worst over Rashawn. That said, I was a huge fan of Butch. I still say (aside from Roi), the DMB I personally loved was lost when Butch left.

The mix seems great to me; I have no problems there.

Yeah, it's not what it could've been, but it's still worth a listen. Especially if you like Butch-DMB.

Got a chance to listen to this today. There isn't much that stands out about this release. Not sure why this one got the nod rather than any number of other 04 shows.

Thanks.....I finally got to download yesterday...but on the third purchase. That system is ridiculous and needs to go away.

Upon reading all these reviews, my desire to spend money on this has dropped to near zero. Too bad, since I was primed for an '04 show.

If it's $15 for something I won't listen to, why bother?
