My favorite Not Fade Away.

Not a favorite '77 the last I listened to it, though.

Yeah I can't figure out how they are legally selling all these shows.. most of ones they have aren't even official releases and you can get them for free on bt.etree.org

What are some of your fav '77s? I just thought overall that show had some really tight playing..I know people rave about 5.7 and 5.8 or that whole spring run, but this show stood out to me.

Ummm, most Deadheads are older and can afford them. And there's quite a few rich ones. And they'll buy anything related to the Dead.

I was big into the Dead in the 80's. Don't listen to them that much anymore, and I usually get my fix with their Sirius channel. So while I can afford it, I don't have much desire to buy this.

I agree, but while I love the Dead and can afford it, just seems like a lot for what will be 60 discs of very similar stuff.

Agreed. England '72 is great, as is Hundred Year Hall. I know I've got a great tape from that tour, too, can't think of specific show. Don't think I need more from that tour.

That I may have to check out. I kind of dropped out on all their live releases when the Dicks Picks series hit the 20's or so.

They are gonna sell the music only without the boxset, it will still be $450. Sucks for me though I wanted a boxset, did not think it would sell out in 4 freaking days.
