Electronic music

Anyone else into electronic genres/musicians/bands?

I’m seeing Odesza this Friday and I haven’t been this pumped for a show in a while. Also love Lane 8, Tycho, Carbon Based Lifeforms, George Fitzgerald, and several others.

It’s such a huge genre with so many acts I’m curious as to what others listen to.

If you’re not familiar with Odesza live:

I like Kraftwerk. But I'm most drawn to bands that use elements of electronic music, like Portishead, Massive Attack, Garbage and Nine Inch Nails.

Hah, that’s fun Gweeps, reminds me of Talking Heads. It’s crazy to see how the genre has evolved over the years.

Here’s one of my favorite Lane 8 songs. A great listen with good cans.

I like it. Reminds me a bit of Moby.

Speaking of Moby, I love this track:

Would Death Grips and Sigur Rós count?

Also, I like what I've heard of this guy (Sorry, I think he's more ambient with traditional instruments):

Of course, we can't forget Brian Eno.

ok I did enjoy Moby back in the day. But I think Skrillex made me hate the idea of EDM.

I like Daft Punk too. Hell I've never claimed to make any sense

I’m not huge on Electronic music, and what I do listen to tends to be on the chiller end of the genre, but I love Kraftwerk, Brian Eno, Boards of Canada, Aphex Twin, Prefuse 73, The Books, Sylvan Esso.

But I think we’re starting to stretch the definition of electronic music a bit.

I know this isn't really electronic music, but this reminds me of it.

Yesss I love A&B and Tiesto is dope too. You should check out some of the new Tycho collaboration tracks that came out this week if you like A&B. Super chill meditation/voiceover tracks.
