He only played the oboe on it once. [Only registered users can see links.]

I don't think digital is happening. At least when it does, it's a change in plans.

I think just extrapolating, if they aren't doing digital, they wouldn't do CD. Digital would be way easier and cheaper.

I totally get not doing a CD, but not doing digital seems a little weird. They obviously already have the files. The vinyl is sold out and there is a demand.

So what you're saying, is that it's not all about the Cap$haw? That runs counter to everything I'm told.

I like that DMB is getting into packages like these, but it usually is pretty standard fare for them to have a download code for a digital copy along with the vinyl it seems

Looking forward to hearing this regardless

That show is such an underrated show, one of my favorites I've ever been to. Great show.

It probably does. They are just saying they dont think there will be a digital download FOR PURCHASE.

But it seems like just a shitty thing to do, no? "Hey, here are all these awesome versions of these songs celebrating 25 years of dmb, but basically none of you can easily hear them." Probably even most of the people who bought the album will never even open it amd just wait for someone to rip it. I still think it is an awesome thing to have done, but that is coming from the perspective of someone who woll easily be able to listen to them.

If they aren't putting it up for purchase they certainly aren't going to miraculously distribute a d/l code as an unadvertised perk to everyone who bought the album with no intention of getting a d/l for free.

Was the Red Rocks release advertised as coming with a DL code? I can't recall.
