That's THE reason this Grey Street got all these votes though, so it warrants discussion. I'm dying to get it for that reason, and because it's my first show ever I want SOMETHING released from it (especially after the show got shunned in the LT40 bonus disc).

Good to get this grey street for sure. The gorge 2002 release isn't so great.

Occasionally it still blows my mind that they haven't played a "full" Grey Street in 15 years. God, it's such a good song and a shame that it's been missing its full structure that builds to that emotional climax.

I haven't listened to it in years but I seem to remember it being quite well done. It's one of those performances, admittedly, that relies partially on context, though.

Hey did any of you guys notice that the 3rd verse of Grey Street hasn't been sung in a while? Seriously, most people wouldn't notice but I think it's a damn tragedy. How long has it only been 2 verses? What was Dave thinking when he dropped that awesome 3rd verse recently??

"Recently", sarcastic?
If not...
It's been like 15 years or something and was dropped when they performed on tv and needed time. I don't think it ever came back but it is a shame

I was wondering the other night when the last one was. I know it was before they went on Carson Daly or one of the later late night shows, but wasn't sure of the last "show" performance with a third verse.

Yeah that might be my favorite AUD to listen to, the whole show is excellent, that Two Step included.

To think the encore that night was written as a Dave solo Gravedigger and then Everyday. Talk about an improvement

Pretty awesome that we now have probably the 2 best Bartender performances of all time now between Live 25 and this new WH disc.

Jeff is amazing on this WH disc version. It's probably my favorite of all.

and probably the third with 8.19.08 released. I would even put 6.26.00 in the top 10.

Let's don't assume that we're going to actually get any/all of those tracks. They didn't actually say how they would use the voting. Maybe only one of the top-voted songs will make the disc. Maybe it won't be the one that was #1. Maybe the top 10 will all make it. Who knows.

Hold your applause until the disc is announced in May.

In the ultimate trolling move, the WH puts the songs with the least amount of votes on the disc.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, no guarantee that's what's actually on the disc. Hell, would those 10 songs even fit on an 80 minute disc?
