This is one of my most-wanted releases and a show I LOVED in person and it absolutely holds up.

Can't wait to hear it.

Wasn't his voice pretty terrible at this point?

I don't think so, '07 wasn't all that horrible on his voice with the tour starting in August.

I like this, but would also much prefer 10/2/07. I love that show.

Isn't this the SUAD that Dave botches at the end, leading to a different outro? I could be thinking of FTT from later in the tour though.
99% sure there's no bonus disc.

At the time, I think I thought n2 was better. But I can tell you I've listened to n2 maybe 5 times ever. Setlist is great but it's all songs we have a ton of releases of. Night 1 has a way more distinctive setlist with variety, and it's a show I've come back to repeatedly over the last 10 years.
And yes, you're right about SUAD. It doesn't totally come off like a mistake though - as in it doesn't sound bad.

I hope Roi is mixed well on this. He does some good stuff.

The Ants guys love West Palm. Did they have any influence?

I wonder how they decide when to do one? Not that I'm pining for one, but it seems like a good opportunity since this was a 2 night stand.

I thought if it was two discs then it is on the table.

It's currently the venue with the most shows and no releases. So probably not the venue, but they probably had input. When we assisted with LT34, I had offered going back a year or two that when Deer Creek turn came around that I could break down each show from the 98-00 era and give highlights / make recommendations and they took ours. Wouldn't be surprised if it was similar.

If they were dying to pick a WPB show specifically, then I would've picked 7/31/10 hands down.

I don't love this just because 2007 was one of my least favorite years, knowing how much they were struggling as a band. It's probably the year out of the 2000s that I go back to the least

I always loved Dave's solos on A Dream So Real. Such a damn shame about that song.

This particular version of ADSR is as good as it gets. Dave's solo and Roi's are both so smooth and tasteful.

Man, I miss that song. The balls on DMB for opening a bunch of shows with it.

I thought it was perfect as an opener, because everyone is attentive for it, and it served as a prelude to what followed, especially when it was something like Two Step which then blew the roof off. It worked like OSW intro worked as an opener. Would not have if it were like 6 minutes.

Agreed. It was smart of them to always follow it with something like Two Step, Seek Up or in this case Rapunzel.
