At a bar or something in NYC, I think it'd be fun.

I've also met a ton of boarders of another band I'm a big fan of and have made long term friendships with them. It's always worth it to step outside your comfort zone imo.
And just like that...#foreverbros. Pretty sure it's the closest I've ever come to love at first sight, pounding drinks with Mike in the lounge and eventually straight blackout drunk talking to one of the dudes from Guster. People can say what they want about Hartford but I've never had anything but incredible nights there.

But, yeah, 've never met anyone on here I haven't liked, and I've probably met at least a dozen or two at least briefly over the years. One or two don't like me but I really couldn't care less, I know I'm always just looking to have a good time with literally anyone that's fun and not stuck in their own heads.

Some of my favorite travel stories ever include past and present people from this board. If you can ever meet anyone in person, 100% do it. That goes for here or for anywhere you've talked to people for years and never had the chance to share a beer with them.

I’ve met up with a lot of people I got to know on the boards and have made some great friends. I even hung out with Mitch at Alpine 2012 and lived to tell.

True story. I believe there's even Facebook pictures to prove it. Kim and her WDS crew were great to hang with

Why don't YOU come to MSG, Kim?

MSG! MSG! MSG!

I haven't looked at many rumors, but I would guess this tour would be similar to the 2012 tour. Short, 1-2 Midwest dates and then all East Coast. High interest in C'Ville as well. Selfishly I hope they skip Chicago so I'm more inclined to travel for a weekend of shows.

Being weirded out to meet someone from the internet hasn't been a thing since the AIM-era.

You have High interest or you think there will be high interest?
Funny thing about cville is tickets are given away every yr.
Floors are hard of sure, lowers semi but uppers literally are given away.
I was shocked the 25th ann show was that way too.

I'm still amazed Dan and I were able to find you and Michelle in the lots. Man, it was hot that year. If the rumored dates are true, I'm not sure I could pull off MSG. Now Charlottesville on the the other hand...

Agreed about Cville tickets. Floors are hard to get and the way to go. Back in '12 I ended up with extra uppers that I couldn't sell and gave them to friends to improve their seats.

I haven't done a large board meet up in a long time. Alpine '09 though was super fun meeting a ton of folks.

Yeah that heat was unbearable the first day.

Is there a specific rumored date for MSG? I must have missed it.

What’s booked on 11/29?

I see nothing on msg calendar for 11/29 and 11/30. I’d bet the farm on those dates.

Yep If it’s a 2 night stand it’s goong to have to be 11/29 and 11/30, thurs/Fri. No other full weekend is available in December there. They could easily just do 1 night there though. I could see it being Wells Fargo on a Tuesday, Prudential or Barclays on Thurs and MSG Friday. They’ve never done prudential and don’t see why not.
