I'd love to see a box set of songs spread out from 1992-1993. Ten discs, many song repeats, but you would get to see how the classics evolved and you'd get many excellent guest spots, performances along the way.

The RR95 start is so good, first time since August, 1995 and only done three times after (Greek 08 and Hartford & Jones Beach 13)
That RR start to Hartford N2 '13 was just one of the things that made that a special show for me at that point in my fandom. That was probably the last high quality DMB show I attended (granted I've only been to 3 show since then, so I guess that doesn't mean much ha). Last time I left MA for a show too.

Interesting choice, but I could get behind it. Wouldn't have thought of it but perusing those setlists and remembering how on fire Coffin was when he joined up and yeah, would probably be pretty damn good

Fall '93 shows are so god damned fun to listen to. I feel the same way about Spring '94 but we have a ton of Spring '94 DMBlives so a box set would be pretty redundant.

This actually makes me want to go back to some of the old PG era shows I used to listen to. November '92 has a ton of fun stuff as well...

While its hard to disagree with most of the other suggestions, spring 2002 (April/May) is not getting enough love in this thread.

Yeah when I think of tours I missed where I could have attended a show Spring '02 is one of my biggest regrets. Not a bad show in sight that tour.

I got into DMB in March-May 2002, and they played Toronto in April. I missed that show, then became diehard over the summer, but it was too late to go to any shows. When the Fall tour was announced, I was dying to go to a show. My dad flew us both to Rochester on a Monday night that December to see my/our first show (and first concert ever). That was one of the coolest things he ever did for me, and to this day, may have been the best night of my life (cheesy as it sounds).

Similar to me in the summer of 2000; really wanted to do the Hershey show (8/23/00) but it was too late to plan. Made sure I got tickets to the Penn State show in the Fall (12/8/00), went to that one with my dad, a friend and his dad and I was off and running.

all solid suggestions in this thread. Here's the hard next step though. Can you choose only one month? I feel like we could make this an elimination tournament .

Yikes. Choosing just one would be tough. There was a time when I would have said Fall '98 without hesitation but now I'm not so sure.

There's also the fact that getting something like July '04 or June '08 would result in me getting releases of multiple high quality shows that I attended...

I like the idea of narrowing it down via a poll. Ill set something up so people can weigh in. I populate it with the most popular results from the discussion.

This is only a suggestion, as I don't want to be controlling or anything, but should we narrow down the best single month of each year first and create the brackets (March Madness style) that way?
