The 3 minutes of Here On Out has been the only mellow part of the show so far. Really high-energy set. (I haven’t looked at the set list since I posted originally so I forget most of it, aside from the encore and a couple songs).

This has to be one of the best 2019 sets, right?

This is one of those songs I’m surprised I never miss Boyd on. The horns do an amazing job covering his fairly crucial part.

And Ants Marching. And I know this is a weird one, but I really miss his countermelody in the one Rhyme & Reason verse. "I know these voices must be my soul."

This is a good show so far. The only critique I have was the way IOY sounded. Other than that, I'm enjoying this.

Carter was amazing in Crush, Tim and RR were solid as well. Disagree with the opinions re: Boyd earlier, I love Crush with BT.
I love Samurai Cop but don't like how Dave scream sings it.
IOY was rough.
Squirm is a gem!
I am digging Buddy on Warehouse.

I feel like most 2-nighters had a show of this caliber. Alpine n1, SPAC n2, Gorge n2, etc.
The tour was pretty dull and repetitive in May and most of June. This was around when it started getting better.

Dave can't sing IOY live anymore. It's either out of tune or just horribly rough like in this show.

Time to retire that one.

6 tour debuts in one show will do that, I guess.

2013 IOY was maybe the best IOY... the better drum part in the choruses, really nice tone from Tim.

I miss good Boyd on a ton of stuff. Most notably Ants, The Stone, Billies, Jane, OSW, Recently, WWYS, Too Much, Pig, Crush, YNK, Jimi, BEF, GIG, Last Stop, Satellite.

Essentially everything pre Busted Stuff.

However I do not miss 3.0 Boyd. The only thing I miss 3.0 Boyd on is Ants. MAYBE Billies, Jimi, and Jane.

Or maybe restructure it? I could be wrong though.

So happy FTT is in this set. This is top 5 DMB songs for me. Pisses me off how few of these have ever been released.

It's the scream singing thing again I think. Also, the lyrics just aren't clicking for him and he can't deliver them well. It felt like he was reading them off the prompter when this version started...totally empty.
