3.28 million watched. Highest rated show on cable last night.

Always Sunny had 1.38 million.

Although to be fair Always Sunny was third in the key demo of 18-49.

This was so fuckin funny I'm watching it again now. It's like they've never been gone. The only difference I've noticed is that Beavis' voice is a little deeper and he seems a little less hyper and more sarcastic, but I like it.

Beavis: Oh I get it. He spins records and records are round just like the dough, so he can spin the dough, see. I mean, you know, it's not funny, but um, I get it.

"Never should have sent that kid to Hogwarts"

and

"I told my niece we couldn't go see The Smurfs again and then she like, started warping space and time"

both brought the lulz, too.

yeah beavis' voice is definitely deeper, but i just attribute that to Judge's age and whatnot.

i'm sure if the show had never stopped and it happened gradually over time we wouldn't notice unless we went back and watched an old episode back to back with a newer one. similar to how cartman's voice has dropped over time.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining about Beavis' voice at all, just saying that I noticed it and if that's the biggest change than that's actually pretty great.

oh i agree, just saying it was the first thing i noticed too.

i will say that my favorite thing about the original was their enthusiasm over metal videos (admittedly because i share that enthusiasm) and i worry that we're going to get basically none of that.

I'm completely out of the loop, but has there been any significant metal bands recently? I'm not busting balls, I'm seriously asking.

admittedly nothing of any real quality that would be played on MTV. but i'd still get a kick out of them flipping out over shit that i think is lame like Avenged Sevenfold or whatever.

basically i get that they're going to riff on mostly reality tv because that's mostly what MTV plays now, but i'd like to see more music videos that aren't just electro pop even if i'm not a fan of the bands.

I've always thought B&BH was pretty hit or miss, but I enjoyed this episode way more than I expected.

another fantastic episode last night. Tech Support and their commentary during 16 And Pregnant and True Life were all hysterical.

I've never been big on the whole Cornholio thing so the main story wasn't that entertaining last night, but the video parts were good as usual.
